TREES MAKE RAIN

Forest catchments create and manage 75% of the Global fresh Water Supply. They create their own clouds, attract moisture from the ocean atmospheric currents inland, cause airborne water droplets to collect and fall as rain, slow down the rainfall, channel it into underground aquifers, hold river banks together with their roots while cooling the waters so that salmon and other fish can successfully spawn. Forests are ecosystem engineers and make life on Earth possible.
